My axolotl is about 6 months old. It was pooping every day sometimes every other day. It was eating bloodworm cubes and about 2.5 weeks ago we switched to red wrigglers and it didn’t poop for about a week. We decided to go back to blood worm cubes after that and now it hasn’t pooped in over a week. It’s still hungry and eating half a cube and its belly is not swollen. It is not floating. Is this normal to not poop for a week? When do I know if it’s time to put it in the frig?

I wouldn't fridge it if there is no other symptom. If it is eating, it is pooping or trouble arise but perhaps you don't get to see the poops. Keep a close eye for any other symptom.

I would not fridge but I would get off bloodworm its like feeding a baby potato chips.

get onto worms or repashy or pellets
