How do duckweed and Axolotl's do together? I'm tempted to add some to one of my setups, but I am scared it will get eaten and will harm my guys...insight please!

don't worry about axolotl's eating plants. Mine rarely goes to the surface, so you probably don't have to worry about yours ingesting too much. I catch mine trying to get some water wisteria down it's mouth every once in a while, but I don't think it could hurt them.

I'd be cautious of adding a floating plant as small as duckweed. Axies come up for a gulp of air fairly regularly and I imagine duckweed could be inhaled by accident but that could just be me being overly careful.
As far as eating it goes it won't hurt them, there is nothing toxic about duckweed that you should be worried about and they will pass it easily.

Mine eat it all the time. Sometimes I even think it's on purpose.

Your biggest issue would be the duckweed clogging your filter...if you have one.

i got it as well and mine hates it when it comes in her mouth :p
very funny to see her spit it out asap XD i think shes grumbling in herself than XD

I have had some for a few years, that hitched a ride on some other plants.I remove a fair bit each month as it grows very well.
