Perhaps a strange question, but does dwarfism exist among axolotls?

there are conditions such as short toe syndrome or stunted growth (spinal deformities) that are confused with dwarfism but are normally conditions that reduce lifespan and lead to numerous health problems (edema, organ failure etc..)

And how do you know if your axoltol has one of these conditions?

with short toe there is normally recognised by limb deformities ie.. shortened limbs (sometimes unable to touch floor) digits (as if toes are removed) etc.. as well as shortened torso, spinal issues are normally visible with curvatures (as if dorsal fin zig zaging when viewed from above) and shortened torso, both tend to have normal sized head and tail length, both carrying health issues and short toed syndrome also having impaired healing and recovery.
axolotls can grow upto 18inches but are normally 9-12inches which means even short axolotls are possible rather than dwarf.
