I got a new axie a few weeks back to go with my other one, there was a bit of a size difference so i got a tank divider, well today my other one is no longer in the tank, like i have taken all the plants, ornaments and sand out and still no sign of him, the only thing i can think of is that he got eaten, has anyone ever had this happen before and will this make the other one ok?

R.I.P Cthulu silly divider

No personal experience, but a large axi can and will eat a smaller one. As a general rule, if it fits in their mouth, they will try to eat it- especially live prey. There's a disturbing pic on the forum somewhere of one being swallowed. It won't hurt the larger one any, if that was the question. Sorry for your loss. :(

What sizes are the respective axies? Is there any chance whatsoever that the missing lotl could have jumped out of the tank? Have you searched everywhere possible (behind the tank, under anything in the room)? I know it's unlikely, but at least be certain. It has happened (I've actually read of someone finding their axie behind the tank 12 hours after it must have jumped out through a very small gap in the tank lid - the escapee was fine btw, after a couple of weeks TLC).
