Egg update

from the eggs laid on 5-5-5....
here is a shot through the side of the glass-look closely at the left and you can see the male, as before he has set up shop with her in the nest chamber....

here is a shot from above showing both of them-i saw one egg was on the substrate, so i decided to remove them from the parents now....

here is a pretty decent shot showing the embryos inside the eggs, they have 4 little equal size stubbs for limbs and a short stubby tail to go with their heads and HUGE yolks

Cool shots! How do the larvae reach the water once they hatch?

no water-these emerge as mini adults and hang around for a few days then wander off

Cool shots. I noticed my clutch had dropped at leat three on the floor, I'm probably going to pull them today. What are you going to put them on? I recommend perlite, they don't get all gummed up with it when they hatch like some other substrates.
