Hello!
I'm a guy from England thats kept shrimp and crabs for years. I finally decided that this year I was going to attempt to raise and keep some longer living pets that hopefully I can actually name and be able to tell apart
After some research and thinking I landed on the idea of newts. I found some chinese fire belly newt eggs for sale online and after a little more research on the species I bought 5 eggs, however when they showed up I had 7!
After 2 weeks of watching them develop they finally hatched on Sunday 2nd April, all within the same 6 hour window. So far all but one has shown great progress and seem to be healthy. I'm almost over the nerve wracking first
week of being nervous over whever they are actually eating or not.
I decided to join this forum as in my research I have found this sites fact sheets and information to be an invaluable tool and if on my journy I can help someone else with information or ideas I'd love to do so.
