E. platycephalus is said to be the most endangered newt in Europe and is highly protected. How did you manage to legally acquire any?

As for breeding setups, I only know of 3 or 4 people in Europe keeping platycephalus, and I have yet to hear of any breeding success.

If he was collected in the wild without proper permits, then no, you cannot legally keep him.

Wild Triturus, as far as I know, cannot be collected and kept as pets either in EU countries, only captive bred specimens. Maybe a European keeper could shed more light on that.
