Eurycea Tynerensis Neoteny

I've recently come across some some pictures on another site identified as adult metamorphosed Eurycea Tynerensis but all data I've found says this is a neotenic species with metamorphosis only occurring in the lab under thyroxin. Does anyone have data to the contrary???? The source seems reputable but I doubt this ID.

Eurycea tynerensis was revised by Bonnet & Chippindale (2004) using DNA data to include metamorphosing populations of what was originally called Eurycea multiplicata griseogater. So yes, sources saying that tynerensis only metamorphose in the lab under thyroxin are now outdated.
