A good search engine is google, go to the images button above the search box type axolotl and you will find loads of them!... See RIP for pic's of my 2 babies.

I have pics of mine in the "Common Name" group in the catagory "Tiger Salamanders and Axolotls" under the name "Axolotl Fun".

I'm soooooo sorry - I normally would but I don't have my camera for the nex few days - and I don't have any pics saved on the computer. But i will post lots of photos when the camera comes back from holidays!

Hi, check out the piccys of Moonpie I just posted in the Common Name forum.

For any one of a squeemish disposition don't go; there is a great one of him devouring an earthworm

Well, I didn't want to start a new thread but .... this is how I found my axolotls hanging around in the aq this morning ... almost symmetrical

the 2 looking right are females and the 2 looking left are males.

I hope she's not pregnant again, that would be the 3rd time within 2 months that I get a bunch of eggs ... I first need to find out what I'm going to do with the ~100 youngsters that are about to hatch

Here's a pic of one of them, its about 7 days old

yep but it requires a bit of knowledge of wha the parents are.
If you want to see full grown axies there are many in these threads and in the photo gallery
Typical adult is between 8"-12" but a small few reach up to 18" but that is quite rare in captivity.

ok this an old piccy but arwen and tweak both measure 300mmm nose to tail-tip

Like your wildtype Heather. Kind of leopard like. Mine are very dark green/black mottling.

This is Moonpie (white albino) and Cobweb (golden albino) Saphy another golden is feeling shy in this one

This is Ariel laying her first clutch of eggs.

Mik I love the idea of the curved PVC pipe for a walk through cave! I am going to have to get some.
