Eye Problem

I fed my female Paddletail earth worms yesterday and she went into a bit of a feeding frenzy and banged her head hard (almost stunning herself ) into a bit of bog wood. This morning I noticed one of her eyes was swollen and semi closed. The eye looks undamaged and she seems happy and has eaten. Is this a form of bruising and is there anything I can do?

If it's just bruised and the skin isn't broken, most likely it will heal itself. Keep the newt cool and calm. It may help to keep the tank lights off for a while. Keep us posted on the outcome.
