Question: Face Growth?

Hi, Maxolotl has a bump and it now seems to be getting bigger. I've been told he has had this for a long time and being in the fridge made it get smaller but it never goes away. His behavior is normal and he doesn't seem to care about it, I was just wondering if anyone knows what this bump is and if action should be take about it.

It almost looks like an axolotl wart, but I have no idea. If it doesn't appear to bother him then maybe it's a benign growth. Hmm.

Has anyone else ever seen anything like this?
