Hi all. The idea just ran through my mind and I'm only curious. Whether safe, suggested, or otherwise, I don't intend on feeding my axolotl's GloFish ( my gosh, that would be expensive!… ). I'm just wondering if it would enhance any coloration or if it would effect them differently with a backlight on them. Or if it would effect them negatively or harm them if someone was to do so. I think about flamingos and how their diet of shrimp gives them a pink pigment, so wouldn't the same idea apply to axolotl's? I know there are domestic GFP axolotl's out there.
Just wondering ya'll. Thanks!
