i've been given eggs from pleurodeles waltl.
Í have got experience with axies but i'm not sure if i can treat these larves the same.

i'will probably feed them after a few days en use black worms, cut in little pieces.

is this a right way to feed those little guys after they've hatched?

i think so, but input is welcome...

I fed my pleuro larves first live daphnia and after a few days live artemia. They grew so fast that after +/-10 days they could eat frozen bloodworms. Compared to my cynops these guys are reeeeaaaaly easy to raise - they'll eat just about anything

I fed my pleuro larvae fine live daphnia initially supplemented with grindal worms for several weeks until moving on to live bloodworm and chopped earthworm. They are hardy little critters and someone I know said "little dustbins" they eat anything in sight if they are hungry, including brothers and sisters if the fancy takes them.

I am with the same problem.... do they eat artemia eggs??? And fish food (pellets/granules)?? And how can I get this "daphinia"???

Felipe, they cannot eat artemia eggs - you have to hatch the artemia, and then they eat the baby artemia. Most newt larvae will only eat LIVE, MOVING food. Pleurodeles are less picky than most, so it may be possible to feed them pellet mash, but I would not recommend it.

Do you have a healthy pond nearby that might have daphnia, or other small live organisms?

No... I live in a big city, and there is no lakes around here....and don't even know if the eggs are fecundated! How can I know? They where laied tree days ago and they didnt change too much!!!!
