Hi everyone just a few questions

i have got two internal power head filters running in my tank now, one with a turn over of 80l/hr, and the other 200l/hr.... the both have on bio sponge, one has a canister of ceramic ring prefilter, and one and a canister of zeolites. the ceramic ring, zeolites and 20l/hr filter are a new edition, but after a 20% water change an a good 16hrs of filtration my water is still murky.... any advice on how to get it looking clear again, and how often should the filter mediums be changed over. any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

Did you soak and then rinse the zeolite before adding it to the tank? Not doing so will cloud your water.

What type of substrate are you using? Sand? Sand even when washed and rinsed heavily will take a few days to settle down.

Is your tank cycled yet? In many instances an tank that is not fully cycled will cloud up.

if by cycled you mean the proccess of establishing colonies of bacteria to break down the amonia, then yes i believe it is, sorry i dont know all the lingo. umm no substrate but will be getting sand in the next few weeks, and yea i washed out the zeolite, but i didnt soak it i just rinsed it really.... but the water was cloudy before hand, i have been doing daily water changes in an attempt to "refresh" the water in the tank, is doing daily changes going to help.... thank you for reply
