Filter watts??

im planing to buy a new filter to create a waterfall but the ones i can find use from 3 to 5 watts depending on the water amount, i know the less watts the less heat, but do you think 3 watts its ok when the water temp is usually on 70??

How large is the tank? Does it have a screen lid (to provide evaporation, and thus stay cooler)? Three watts is the lowest wattage I have ever seen; if you must have the waterfall, this is your best possibility.

well the tank its still under construction but will have a computer vent to get air in and one to take it out, and no i don't need to have the waterfall but its just to the look of the tank, plus i wont have any other way to get O2 in the water besides some elodea, now the tank is 80cm wide*45cm deep*80cm tall its the picture i posted on the new viv a while ago, asking about plants, thanks jennifer
