<font color="aa00aa"><font face="arial,helvetica"></font>Hi everyone.Im hopefully getting 5 adult axolotls soon and im getting a bigger tank for them at the weekend and gettin all their equipment etc.what type of filter would be best?an under gravel one?

in my opinion a power filter is the best. the only prob would be that you would have lessen the current of the filter.
 
My big tanks are all hooked up to minireef filters. I swapped for all of them and custom fitted them. They are expensive if purchased new. Some sort of power filter with lots of biological filtration is good. I'd stay away from under gravel. Of course I stay away from the gravel.

At work we tend to use Magnum 330 filters on all of our aquariums less than 55 gallons in volume. We have had little to no problems with these filters, the only real drawback is that the filters need to be below the level of the water to operate efficently.
