looking at the pics you post seem to me to be excellent animals, congratulations! As for their sex, comparing the size of your hand seem to me that young animals have not reached sexual maturity, so they are difficult to sexing! However, if saying what its exact size and or age and post pics of their cloacae may be that any man can say what you want to know!

It is probably female... or it could be a male that has never been in breeding condition yet. Best of luck with them.

Yes. Those carnifex look very different from normal ones. Maybe those could be macedonicus?

They look a heck of a lot lighter out of the water than mine. Mine appear black when out of water.

As you were already told, juveniles are not accurately sexable (although you appear to have at least one female). Until they reach sexual maturity, the secondary sexual characteristics do not develop. What looks like a female can develop into a male.
Give them time, they grow fast and in a few months i´m sure they´ll be mature and their gender will become VERY obvious.

By the way, i do not think these are macedonicus...they look very much carnifex to me. The lightness of their colour can be caused by light, temperature, or simply because these come from a lighter blood line.
