Fire sal bloat?

my female fire salamander just recently got extremely bloated/fat in her mid section. throat looks normal (im used to newts) im just wondering if its a health problem or just overweight from eating too much? thanks in advance for any help you can offer
 
Which are the period within your sal bloated ?
That is, its bloating was progressive or improvvise ?
How are you feeding it, now and in recent past ?
Does it live (or had lived recently)with some males of f.s. ?
 
ive noticed a sudden weight gain, in like the last 1-2 days. i feed dusted crickets and waxworms. she currently lives with a male however i only got her 1 month ago, so im thinking she may be gravid. any suggestions?

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
