First time amphibian(eft) parent

New to this reptile/amphibian parenting. The neighboughers son found (what he thought was a salamander) and wasn’t allowed to keep him so my bf and I (who have only had cats/dogs) decided to adopt the little eastern Newt that we named Newton, we have spent hours looking into everything about newts that are in the eft stage/eastern newt/amphibians and this is the terrarium so far. Just wondering if this is appropriate/ suitable for Mr.Newton or if anyone has suggestions?
