Floating around

I just happend to notice my axie floating at the waters surface. She tried to swim down but floated up again. Though she didn't seem too stressed. I watches her and after about 2 minutes she opened her mouth and some large bubbles came out and she floated back to the bottom and was fine. Is this a problem or had she just swallowed some air.

As you suspect she had just swallowed some air.It can sometimes cause problems if it becomes trapped becoming whats called tympanitic.
