My axie has been floating for a day now. At first he was just having trouble staying on the bottom of the tank so he was squeezing himself into decorations to stay down. I have ice packs in the water to help with temperature and right now it seems fine. The other two in the tank are completely fine and are eating normally. This morning he was at the top of the tank just floating on his side. I checked him to make sure he would respond and he immediately began swimming to the bottom of the tank. When I left for work this morning he was still swimming around trying to stay at the bottom. (His back end is what's floating up). I know that putting them in the refrigerator can help but I've also heard that it can be too stressful. He's about 9 years old and I'm getting a little worried about him. He's my anxious boy, he stresses so easily. Does any one have any tips on how to help him or steps on putting him in the fridge? I'm a little nervous about putting him in the fridge and possibly making things worse.
Thank you!

There's a sticky at the top of the sick axie section for fridging guide. It's really good.

He doesn't need fridging unless he is in serious distress or is visibly straining. Just moving an axie to a tub is usually enough to induce pooping.
