My little axolotls have been hatching over the past couple of days, and most of them seem fine, but one seems to be having some trouble. It keeps floating belly up at the surface of the water. When it swims it can get down to the bottom, but as soon as it stops wriggling, it pops up again and turns upside down. Do axolotls have swim bladders like fish (I'm not really sure what a swim bladder is, but I know fish sometimes have problems with them!) and is there anything I can do? Thanks :)

Are water parameters normal? I cannot think of anything it could be. he probably rammed really hard against the glass and that caused the gas bubbles in his body to move around. It could also be a bacterial infection.

Thank you, the water is all good, and none of the others have had a problem. It seems to have recovered today, so you may well be right about the air bubbles :)
