Floating..PLEASE HELP!

Hi, my axie ivy has been acting weird today. She has been floating at the top of her tank, her tail is curled and her blood vessels are very pronounced. I think it's constipation but I'm not sure. Please help!

Check the tempurature then test the water. Floating isn't usually a sign of distress, unless she can't get back down?

I think i see a hooked tail though?

I think it may be heat stress or water quAlity. How often do you do a water change? What do you keep it in? Do you keep a close eye on the temps? What are the temperature.

Do you use a dechlorinator?

If you can post your ammonia, nitrite and nitrate readings and your water temperTureethat will help out a lot! Its very important to test your water frequently and have a thermometer expecially in the summer months.

For the time being keeping your lotl in a tuperware container with cool fresh aged dechlorinated water doing 100% water changes daily and wiping out the tub will at least make sure its in clean water.. If the temperature is over 75F i would suggest fridging your lotl, but still doing the 100% water change like above just usin dechlorinated water that is in the fridge

I agree water parameters need to be checked often, and will help us get a better idea of the problem.
Just looking at your pic, your lottle looks quite thin, what are you feeding and how often?
A good judgement of a 'healthy size' would be that the widest part of their tummy is the same width as their head

She hasn't been eating much, and I have made a previous post about what I have been trying to feed her, she is also doing much better now, and I change the water once a week.
