So today i noticed tortilla's colors fading on her tail
burrito is very faded as those of u who know me remember
her color comes back as the water ages and today i realized something
my town adds flouride to tap water
i use tap water for the axies but i add dechlorinator
maybe it isnt removing the flouride and the flouride is fading them??

I would be very surprised if it is the fluoride, since I think (almost?) all municipal water in the US has fluoride. However, you have noticed a pattern in the color fading, so maybe it is something else about the water. Ask the municipal water office for a report on your water supply - maybe there is a clue.

report:
alpha emitters- .411ppm
flouride-1ppm
HAA-20.3ppm
TTHMs-42.6ppm
copper-.17ppm
sodium-28ppm
