hey im looking at setting up a new tank about 130L and was wondering what peoples opinion for a suitable filter would be.
im looking at a Fluval 3+ filter on a online auction at the moment, so if anyone has had trouble with these filters, or good experiences with them input would be appreciated.
Cheers

hi i have a fluval 3 in my tank and iv never had any probs with it just make sure u get a spray bar as the fluval can b a bit to strong and the axie don't like it good luck.x.

Same here love mine. the current is a little strong I would put some thing in front of it like a big rock maybe or get a spray bar. I would love to have a spray bar but can not find one over here. I also added the carbon to mine.

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
