Freak Axolotl or Just White Spot?

So my guy has had white spot twice, it's almost cleaned up on him fully now, apart from on his tail. Tonight I was checking his toes to see if it had cleared up on them.

What I think was white spot on one of his toes is still there, but it's turning black like the rest of his toes - which I know is normal - but, I'm starting to wonder if its another toe growing and not white spot at all. as its been there for over a month now with treating with salt. And the same thing is happening on one of his back feet. The other thing is, he has webbed feet on his left side and not on his right and on his left back foot, he has four toes and on his right, he has five toes.

Could my axie be growing extra toes or is the white spot just lasting longer on his toes to his body and tail? Is it possible for white spot to turn black on their feet? And are axolotls supposed to have five or four toes on their back legs?

Hope none of that is confusing, I can't explain too well.

Do you have a picture what it looks like? It might be possible that he's growing exra toes. Axolotls have 5 toes on their back legs, 4 on their front legs.

Here's some photos. This one is where he has the five toes and if you look closely on his longest toe, you can see like a pin sized bump type thing, that's what I thought was white spot and it's turning black like the rest of his toes, so I'm thinking it's not white spot after all. How long until the toe should be the size of the others, if it is an extra toe growing?

And with this photo, he has the four back toes, and with his four front toes on one of them, there's a similar bump to the other size that is turning black also and I also thought it was white spot. On this side, all his feet are webbed.

If you look closely at the last photo, you can also see the bump on his last toe of his front leg. He's had that one for about three weeks. Does clearing up white spot on the toes take longer than anywhere else? I've noticed it takes longer to clear up on his tail to his body.
