Fred is getting worse

I posted before about fred being unable to use his back legs and now he seems to be having difficulty in moving at all, he ended up turning over last night and could not get himself back around and had to be helped back on to his feet

im not sure if a vet visit is the done thing here but i know my usual vet will not see him but im starting to worry that this isnt something that will return to normal with time.

he is still eating well and looks well enough so no fungus or any problems with his gills. his water parameters are good and the temp is fine i dont understand what is wrong
 
On your other post he looks quite swollen. It's probably best to try find a vet near you who can take a look at axolotls.

If the water parameters are OK then like Ian said, it might be bacterial. Also, what fish do you feed? Earthworms have been proven to be the best diet for axolotls.
