Is there any mileage in freezing earthworms. Would frozen earthworms provide nutrition for a paddletail?

When I had to ask someone else to feed my newts once, I did freeze earthworm chunks for them to use, so they didn't have to do the cutting. Nutritionally, they should be very close to fresh.
