Fridged axie- is this sand?

I have a rescue fridged at the moment, I suspect she was on sand and could be impacted. She hadn’t eaten for 2 months and was ammonia burnt when I got her.
Anyways, this was in the tub after day 1 of fridging, do you think it is sand or something else?

That does look like sand to me, fridging seems to be working :)

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
