Hi, T-rex is going in the fride due to constipation from sucking up sand. I'm introducing a dish for his sinking pellets and if that doesn't work I'll switch to bare bottom. can I do the water changes using water from his tank which is still running with a filter? Or must it be fresh dechlorinated water every day. Planning on a 48 hour fridge vacation (or till he's no longer floating tail up and panicking. Cheers, Fel

Tank water is fine as long as it's the same temp as fridge (store some in jugs)

I prefer using tank water as it's of a quality they're used to so you don't have to reintroduce them back into their tank water bit by bit (adding an amount to their container everyday) As said previously, just store in it jugs or bottles (I use 3 litre drink bottles, cleaned out to the highest mark, obviously!) and pop them in the fridge to maintain the temperature for axie
