Frozen prawns

I have given my adult axolotls frozen prawns occasionally, (thawed first!)with no ill effect. Has anybody got any experiences which tell them that this is a good or bad thing to feed them?
 
ours love uncooked prawns,always frozen and defrosted first........they dont like the cooked prawns:(
