Hello everyone.
One of my axolotls had some fungus on its gills a few days ago. I treated it (salt baths), it's pretty much gone now.
Suddenly, another axolotl gets the same kind of fungus, also on its gills. Giving salt baths.
I just came home today and noticed a third axolotl is starting to show the same kind of fungus, again on its gills.
All water parameters are normal, nothing is out of the ordinary.
Temperature is picture perfect, seeing as I have a chiller set at 17°C.
However, to add the chiller I had to install another pump, which basically means I'm running two pumps right now. Both run at 1000l/h, making it 2000l/h in total. The tank contains about 340-350l. If I go by the standard rule, 2000l/h should be fine.
The water from both pumps returns back into the tank at the same spot at the top of the aquarium. Aquarium is 60cm tall, so I thought it should stir up the bottom too much.
Is there anything I'm overlooking here that could cause this fungus? They don't appear to show signs of "stream stress", their gills are perfectly normal (apart from the fungus of course).
Another thing I should probably mention is that the fungus began to appear shortly after I began to use the chiller.

Any help would be much appreciated. Fungus is easily treated sure enough, but it's not exactly fun for the axies to go through.
