Funny axolotls

My axolotls will sit there for a couple seconds with there noses touching, than at the same time they just dart in oposit directions its so cute and funny to watch. Do any one elses do this?
 
i have seen mine do this before, they touch noses heaps but dont dart of very much.
 
mine crawl on top of each other...so inconsiderate!
and they miss the pellet adn it lands on thier nose...it looks like theyre celerbrating red nose day!! hehe, they look like clowns!
 
hehe im sure mine would if i had 2. BTw whats the best time to introduce a 2nd axolotl to the tank?

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
