Hey everyone,
I spent a lot of time in the fish hobby but I think it's time for a change. I am very new to keeping amphibians ... Matter of fact I don't even own one yet (Buts that's going to change in time
). I have been doing a lot of research into a couple of "Beginner"/Hardy newts and also axolotls. I'm really considering either a paddle tail newt, Southern Crested newt, or fire belly newt. Their are a few things I am concerned about such as if a turtle dock will be enough land for one of these creatures? How many how many of one species can keep in a 20 gallon high? Is it possible to keep newts or axolotls with ghost or cherry shrimp even tho they might become prey? I really wanna get some newts since they are semi - aquatic and I've only dealt with fish but another thing I am unsure of is if they are legal in Florida?
