Illness/Sickness: Güero is trying to eat

Hi guys
My leucistic axolotl Güero had an infection about two weeks ago, he wasn't eating at all, and then he got a pimple like thing in his forehead. I take him to the vet (the nearest exotic vet its two hours from my town), he drained the pimple thing and gave Güero antibiotics. Now he looks better and is still recovering, the problem is that he wont eat, like before, he seems to be chewing, not swallowing.
What should I do?
Force feed him or let him do it by his own?

Have you any pics plus how big is it and what are you trying to feed ?

Thanks for the reply, Güero is doing great, I force fed him with tubifex, the week after he was eating by himself.
