Hi,

My name's Maya and I live in Perth, Western Australia.
I don't have a pet newt or Salamander yet but I would like to learn more about these animals. My brother's birthday is in two months and he would like an axolotl for his birthday so I need to learn as much as possible before then. I want to give the axolotl the best possible home

I would love any help on how to care for these and hopefully make some new friends along the way

Welcome to the forum. I would recommend having a read through axolotl.org if you haven't already. There is a ton of info there that will get you started in the right direction.
