Hey everyone,
I'm already a birder, hiker, and kayaker, now I would like to add field herping to my outdoor hobbies. But, how do I get started? Just get a field guide and go? If anyone has useful links I would appreciate it too. I would love to find caudates where I live, but I have no idea how to go about doing that - all my "field herping" prior to knowing the actual term consisted of terrestrial creatures (I love skinks - just found a ground skink this morning).
