Ghost/Glass Shrimp in Australia

they hang around in the reeds. if its a hot day they will go deeper. i usualy go early mornings
 
Finally got my little shrimp and Timon and Pumbaa love em. Only had three DOA out of twenty, well fourteen now T & P have had lunch. Ha Ha. If fishing in lakes is not your thing, try your local fishshop and get them to contact there supplier you may be plesently surprised. But one thing is for sure axies love glass shrimp and there on the menu, oh and there kind of cute Ha Ha
 
Just wondering, any specific spots for the shrimp at carribean gardens?
I go there regularly so know it quiet well, most my axie's are from there!
Any other ways of getting them without wildlife hunting? Don't really know if I could see my self hunting shrimp!

hey geoff how much did u get the shrimp for and did they send them down to albany??
 
just skim a net along the reeds and look in the net carefully because of their see-threw apprence they are hard to see if u catch one. but u will see em jump around.
 
Cori, let me know if you catch any! I went on wednesday to the Carribean gardens but i couldnt get any! Mind, i did go in the afternoon cos i was working, so maybe they all swam away by then.
 
Hah, my fave pet shop has blue yabbies. :p They'd make cool pets but I'm scared of locusts so I don't think it's the one for me! :p

Cool, there are WA people here! I live in the central wheatbelt. Hot, dry and dusty- What fun! Not! HAH!
