decided not to post this in the sick forums, because she seems to be in good health, but i was wondering if anyone had any tips on increasing the size of gill filaments?
kip has always had fairly small gills, which is fine and all, but her filaments are somewhat shrunken at the moment. i'm curious to know if i can restore them to their lovely, fluffy state.
thanks in advance :)

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
