Hi is this gill fungus? if so what could be causing it? ( could it be the biofilm causing it?) and how should I treat it? is it very harmful?
(the tiny white stuff floating in the water is biofilm, I don't think it's what's on his gills cause his gills have been like that for a few days)

Hi! First of all, your axolotl looks very healthy thats great. Second of all, in my experience that is not gill fungus, leucistics tend to have like white almost like gill tips most of the time when their gills are growing! I cant see any fungus, and remember gill fungus is a cotton ish kind of looking thing that usually starts on the gills first. So I wouldnt worry, I dont see any fungus. Keep me updated !!

Thank you, I think you're right so thank you! He seems fine :)

Gill fungus usually looks like cotton fuzz on their gills but yours doesn't show this. Your axolotl looks great 👍
