Hi:
i've been reading that gills that seem to bend forward are a sign of a stressed animal. i am a new owner, and one of them has gills bend forward over it's head. I do not use a filter as I currently keep them in small 2.5 gallon aquariums and have heard that the filters can create currents that will stress them out.
Could this just be normal? He/she eats normall and well and doesn's seem to exhibit any other signs of trouble.
Thanks!
Carrie
