There is so much absolute **** on Instagram and other social media. There seems to be floating around the idea that "gravel causes impaction" is a myth, all because SOME people keep them successfully on gravel with no problems and the photos of x-rays are fake. Apparently it's worse to keep them together in a tank with the risk of having limbs bitten off than it is to keep them on gravel.

It annoys me so much because other people see that and start believing it and then they raise their axolotls on gravel.

This is going to turn into the new rant thread.
 
This is the problem with some of the social media groups.
I do pop in and have a read of some and there are some that give out very dubious advice.
When ever you research anything, try and check your information with different resources. I would say the advice here is generally the safest, and I am not being biased here .

There is no need for this to be a rant thread Cloppy :)
