I noticed this white stuff on my little guy can anyone Id it and tell me how to cure it. I can't figure out how to post the pics I have on my phone. Basically it's only on the front of the gills
If it's white and kinda fluffy, then it could be a fungus in which case you would need to read the fridging guide because that's one of the best ways of curing it.
Do the gills look like this? This is my axolotl, Wooper. And i am very worried about her as well. She had a small piece of fungus on her gills when i decided to refrigerate her and now its all over the gills. The salt water is not helping either and its been 7 days. So its spreading. Maybe i should try the Tea treatment? Haven't done that before!

Tea is not a good idea when treating fungus, because tea will close the lotl's (pories?)(or holes in his body) wich will stop from letting any kind of medicine to get into his system. Tea is not meant for anti-fungus treatment either, but for something else.(can't remember what)
Have you read the pages about salthbath and fridging? If not, click here for SALTBATH and here for FRIDGING.
No but the gills on the tip of a gill are falling off. Could this be sure to temp stress? Even though I float 4 frozen bottles at a time I can only maintain 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
