Is a gold dust newt a swordtail? cause you cant find much about gold dust newts

Yes. Swordtailed newts can be either of two subspecies:
Brown newt (Cynops ensicauda ensicauda)
Gold dust newt (Cynops ensicauda popei).

Search by the binomial, it will get you a lot more results.
