Swordtailed newts can be either of two subspecies: Brown newt (Cynops ensicauda ensicauda) Gold dust newt (Cynops ensicauda popei). Here is a good caresheet: Caudata Culture Species Entry - Cynops ensicauda They are kept by quite a few people on this forum, so it's not too hard to get info here.
