I'm a new axylotl owner and very happy to be part of this forum! "Emoji" is a juvenile leucistic axylotl who never fails to make me smile! I do have a question this morning. I've recently added some plants to her environment, which she seems to enjoy, but they tend to uproot and float. Would it safe for my axolytl if I added leaded aquarium weights to keep the "forest" more stable?

I wonder if an axie would swallow one if it got loose? Maybe tie plants to a decoration with fishing line?
