Hello all. I was wondering if there is a good Salamandra reference available. Locality/subspecies information, etc. Thanks in advance...

I am actually looking into seriously writing one at this moment in time, so you never know, iam looking into the logistics of it now.

The caudata reference is the only one I know of, but it is so generic that it is hard to glean much information. There is a great need for a compiled description of species/subspecies and range maps.

Yes, there is s real need for this and it would be a great stimulus for captive bred Salamandra development outside of Europe.

I agree Steve, and not for just outside of Europe either.
