Hi everyone - I'm Susan, a New Zealander living in Brisbane, Australia. I tutor indigenous kids in a big city high school. I have an 8 yr old son who is fascinated by the natural world. We recently got our first axolotl - greatly and eagerly anticipated - and he has not disappointed, having already charmed the whole family with his good looks and personality.

We've been searching the net for some reliable info on axolotls and found your wonderful site - what a treasure trove of knowledge shared by a great community! Looking forward to reading the posts and learning heaps.
