Hi, you should answer the questions the pervious person asked.
To help you buddy out, you should really take him off that gravel and switch to sand or bare bottom. The gravel can cause impaction and kill him which is one more thing that could stress him out.

The gravel could harm him. What's the parameters of your tank water? pH, Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate and Temperature?

Is it something that has been slowly growing? I think look like some sort of growth and would be best seen by a vet.
