I have a fish tank full of guppies and mollies, can I breed them and use them as a primary food source? I'd like my axo to have some live food with him (I know a bit more maintenance but i feel maybe healthier to have that movement) he would still get blood worms (or better source?) In addition when feeding time comes but less hand feeding?

Fish should not be a primary food source. Earthworms are the best food for axies, but you can use fish as something to chase. Bloodworms really aren't suitable for adults.

Try European Nightcrawlers instead. They're healthier for your axolotl, have more protein, and also offer the live movement you're looking for. Fish tend to be high in fats, and it's also more likely you'll introduce a parasite to your axolotl via feeder fish.

Thank you guys: rarely feed fish and try European nightcrawlers.
