Have I messed up an injection?

I've been injecting my axolotl with Baytril twice a day for three days now. The first two days (four injections) went without a hitch, however, I think I may have messed up today's. I normally inject him on the right side, as shown in this picture: http://www.axolotl.org/images/health/inject_side.jpg
Today, I opted to him on his left, as it was the most exposed and easily accessible at the time. I had looked at anatomy diagrams beforehand (http://www.axolotl.org/images/physiology/Internal_Structure.jpg), and I thought it would be ok to inject him in the same spot on that side - but after I injected him, he vomited up something brown (he hasn't eaten in 10 days, so is that strange?), and his left side is now misshapen, as you can see in this pic: https://imgur.com/jPsnnt1

I feel terrible. He seemed to be improving until I did this. Have I messed up?

I don't know enough about anatomy to know if you have messed up, but I hope he improves.

Weirdly enough, his posture and shape seem to have corrected themselves. There may still be damage, but outwardly he looks alright. He still has the big lump on his arm though, which was the main problem to begin with, and it isn't going down, despite the antibiotics. I may try to poke it with a syringe to see if I can drain it. He's still fridged, and he doesn't react too much to the antibiotic injections, so it shouldn't bother him too much - and at this point, I'm not sure I have many other options.

Why is he in the fridge? He probably won't eat because his metabolism is slowed by the cold. I thought fridging was for fungus or constipation......or did your vet recommend it as part of his treatment?

Because he has an infection. He was very stressed in his tank, the fridge has calmed him down and slowed the spread.
